Kepler and approaching storm

I understand being disgruntled about a story development that you may not be happy with, but I don't get the bashing of the developers who, correct me if I'm wrong, is developing without pay. This game is free of charge and some people are treating it like they spend half their paycheck on it. I like hearing the stories about situations like Drake and Alberta since I wasn't playing at that time to experience that, but the dev bashing is not good. Unhappy with the status quo? Become a dev.

My opinion on Kepler: Haven't traveled in the system yet, if it's even possible, to see the developments. Curious what opportunities this will give my factions and what bigger implications this will have.
