Captain's Log - 09.26.827:
DSE has completed the refit and I have picked up the Hermes from them and taken her on a test run to confirm there is no outstanding issues with the refit.

Our first stop was Planet Curacao in Cortez where we topped off on needed supplies and picked up some crew and passengers for the initial run. We made our way towards the Luxury Liner Shetland in Poole where we dropped our passengers and restocked before heading on to Omega-5.

Passing through Omega-5 to the Omega-41 jump hole was a bumpy ride, but the shields handled it without too much difficulty so there were no scratches, though the hull did get a bit dusty. We did note an ongoing battle between the Corsairs and the Red Hessians and fortunately they were too focused on each other so we were not bothered as we passed by, though we did make sure we kept our distance from the battle. After passing into Omega-41 we headed for Freeport 5 for some additional supplies and to drop off some of the passengers we happened to pick up from the Shetland. As some of the crew and passengers had never seen a neutron star, we stopped for a few minutes so they could observe its destructive beauty. After stopping at Freeport 5 we picked up some zoner pilgrims that were looking for transport to Baffin and headed back to Omega-5, where the previous battle appeared to have finished.

We then headed on to Cambridge and from Cambridge we headed for Leeds. We stopped for a moment of silence at Planet Leeds to remember those that were lost, and the horrors inflicted by the Gallic Royal Enclave. While we were stopped there the GRE took the opportunity to try and attack us, but we handled them with no issues and continued our journey to Baffin via Newcastle.

On arriving in Baffin the pilgrims requested a fly-by of Planet Eris and it's impressive rings, and then we offloaded the pilgrims at Shasta Orbital Skyhook. We finished our trip by heading for Sabah Shipyard, where we docked and are in the process of running full diagnostics to make sure everything worked to specs on the trip, and are having the ship cleaned and prepared for official transport use.
