I like how this thread is still a hotspot for trader tears. I'll slap my two cents.

You are a trader. You want to make money easy without effort. You trade in The Omicrons during a very fancy event that so happens to include a few systems that are also Nomad Turf such as Omicron Gamma and Theta. Nomad players will do their job of antagonists and make you cry as they blast you and your cargo. Nomads exist to make the omicrons dangerous.

Some Nomads want to RP, drag you to their Light, make you obey them. That is their RP. You can always expect at least 3/5 people within K'Hara to actually desire RP. What do some powertraders do? Rush the nearest station and ignore any RP, then make a thread later and complain, shedding tears as if someone hurt them irl. I understand that traders don't want to die. Nobody wants to. But if you really want to complain, pick something that is a real problem, and not a Nomad shooting your trader down by /1 /2 /3 because you either: 1) Decided it is best for you to rush to the nearest station and not let someone type in chat their RP; 2) You think it's a bright idea to open fire without RP, or just mute them because they're doing something to make you feel adrenaline rushing through your veins.

In short. You're in the Omicrons. Most dangerous part of Sirius. Expect trouble. Always expect more trouble, and even more trouble. If you can't stand the Nomads, then get the hell out of their turf.

This rant might make me sound like an arsehole, but I'm fed up with how stupid this thread is. You filled 4 pages of "hurr durr Nomad shot me in short RP waaaaaah" and "but u trader and we mad aliens". Stop it, get some help.
