Salt Lake Story

Ruben "Wingman" Renegade is my name and callsign from my days when myself and my boys were mercenaries running from Salt Lake Station and helping out the Navy boys of Liberty.

My days as a merc are now over and I have decided that its time to just start over and go a wandering around this lovely universe and see what I stumble across which might excite me.

I have come to the Bar aboard Treton Outpost to meet with someone who claims to be a Fleet Admiral of some Faction called the Liberty Navy 46th Strike Force, of which I have been hearing rumors about lately.
As i walk into the bar I just see the usual rough suspects going about their business and drinking and playing pool and generally enjoying themselves, when out of the corner of my eye I see this rather tall Navy fellow in a white uniform sitting at the far end all alone.
This says me is the dude that im supposed to be meeting and I think judging by his uniform he may just be a Fleet Admiral.
I decide to go and say hello to the dude so I start to walk over and suddenly im smashed over the head with a barstool and felled to the ground, after a very short scuffle I realise that this Navy dude has actually subdued three roughians who for some reason want my blood.

I immediately get to my feet and introduce myself to the Admiral and we start chatting and drinking ale and really got on well together.
After a while we get down to business and decide that we will do the deal on selling Salt Lake Station immediately and will need to get some finer details sorted seeing as my station is of Freelancer origin at the moment.

Admiral Creed is his name as he tells me and he would not converse about his Strike Force in any way which is uderstandable seeing as its a Navy organisation.
Anyway Creed hands over cash to me for the Station which is a deposit and the rest of the funds will be transferred very soon through encrypted transaction as he has reliably informed me.

After our meeting I think ive made a rather good ally in Admiral Creed because he seems a really nice dude and I have mentioned meeting once again to finalise our deal and get the ball rolling as soon as possible, so for now I will make my way back to Salt Lake happily knowing the base will be in good hands.

I may even ponder with the idea of asking if I can park my ship there from time to time but me thinks that might be being too cheeky.

Finalising the deal is the next step and I hope it happens very soon.
