Greetings Admiral Van Leer,

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you regarding the Science division request which you quoted below........

Do you think there is a need for such positions?

Would we find space in our budget?

And, as I am by no means qualified and prefer to focus on my duties
Would one of you be willing to spearhead the effort of doing all the necessary vetting, acquiring of research vessels and facilities et cetera?

I have considered your proposal with great interest and have decided to grant your request immediately and I will leave you to fully organise this Division with great haste.
I am hoping this Division will be successful along with every other new Division we have just introduced and as regards funding I will grant any funds you need as you need it to save me authorising a set funding account which could run out and not be viable to us.

I wish you good luck Admiral and I hope you can set this out as successfully as Recoil Division has been done.
