I suppose I called this on myself Fleet Admiral. I did say there is a need for scientific advisors, not that I am the best person to command the division.
But oh well, I thank you for your generosity in terms of providing the budget and giving the go-ahead. I do believe we need help in making sense of Omicron Nu and the strange artifacts being smuggled to Liberty and many other things.
Alas, unsurprisingly, I have no direct contact with scientists or the scientific community - I have therefore done the only thing I could think of - posting an advert on an open channel. I understand there will be some risks associated with this, and the applicants will have to be subject to rigorous vetting and long trial period before they will gain access to internal data - I have therefore made it clear that should they also want to be trained in our regular combat recruit programme that includes all the vetting and training they will be given a priority in the application process.
This is my first time dipping my toes into dealing with the brainiac researchers community directly, let's see what comes out of it. I do hope I won't make too many mistakes learning how to run the division.
