none of them were ever active, and we had no reason to believe they were more than husks, and no reason to believe they'd be successful in bringing them to life

this isnt feedback material regardless
Well, if they could build, grow or whatever (that is not the point) their complicated husks then it should also have been fairly possible that they were active or could have been activated.
Secondly we are not a fringe group of nomads. We are direct offsprings the Vagrants (still have heavy influence on us) who are by the way the original nomads that came back as far as I'm concerned. So there is something wrong with your statement that we did not came back to the main body or that it should be sketchy.
As such it is nonsense that it should be hersey or unholy. We see it as a chance for the Light aka Vagrants/ Nomads/ wilds or whatever to grow. I can understand that it would raise some questions but simply saying we are going to purge you is something utterly unneccsary and also nonsense. Yes it isn't vanilla freelancer but that is just a mere excuse to denie it. You literally denie something that someone else would do without any need of help that you could gain profit from. We literally want to build a warship that will be used in the same war against the same enemies for the same cause.
