In recent weeks we have made major strides in carving our message into the minds of Sirius. However, with the fires of change comes those who wish to snuff it out before it's work can be completed. I fear that the Corsairs may seek retaliation against us for our actions in showing that we will no longer be their footstools. Further, the fact that they know the locations of most if not all of our installations means that none, even our most isolated, are not safe from retaliation. Which is why I am initiating Project Mycelium, I am ordering the construction of 7 "Caliburn" Class Gaian Destroyers one for each of our installations in order to act as guardians over them. Fact is we are entering a dangerous new future, and we cannot be caught with out our guard up.
