I think that instead of doing 2:1 we could advance a year with every major version alongside every real-life year. That's definitely one way to make things progress a little faster. I suggested that a long time ago and I think it was done one alongside one of the updates five-or-so years ago.

We had inRP years advancing with mod updates back when the team did massive updates and couldn't guarantee they introduce a new one every year, which is how we ended up with one inRP year happening for two iRL years, and that's also why the staff decided to switch to the current synchronisation four months before you joined Disco.

That's not what I'm referring to.

When I joined disco the disco-years already advanced the same way as real-years, but there was one update that also advanced the disco-year. That's what I'm suggesting - to continue with the real-year advancing the disco-year (+1 A.S. on every January 1st) but also combine it with +1 A.S. every time a new major update is released.
