Whenever Olivia would return, she'd find that Morreti was long gone, almost as if he'd never been here to begin with. The only thing betraying that impression would be the mark left in her flight suit when they first met in person. It was placed face down, serving as a makeshift paperweight over a small note which had no doubt been left there by her visitor. Pulling it out from underneath would reveal a message intended for her.

"Hold onto this, it's yours unless you decide you don't want it anymore. Consider it a token of gratitude and an apology for how much flak I've sent your way recently. My people shouldn't bother you when you're in Liberty anymore. Tough ask, but if you return the favor and leave them alone, then it'll stay that way. I can make sure of that.
