Entry Aulis – Languedoc

"This is the Survey Log of Expeditionary Wing Unit Erodios on the journey through the southern Gallic Sector. Today I have arrived in Languedoc, first destination on my list of systems to gather survey data for knowledge keeping purposes for the Technocracy."

"Languedoc is a rather large-sized unary star system with a Class G (Medium White) Star which is orbited by seven celestial bodies."

"Planet Quillan is the only inhabited Planet. A medium-sized terrestrial world with large deposits of easily accessible metals. Temperatures range from -34° to 20° and Population marks 200 million. The planet has several mining colonies and is currently owned by the Enclave. Enclave Battlegroups are orbiting the Planet, fortifying the position."

Anomalies / Points of Interest / Events:

"The Cerbere gas dwarf atmosphere couldn't be surveyed yet, due to its composition of hazardous acids which are dangerous to most current research equipment. The planet could maybe house ressources or some anomalies."

"Planet Ales is a medium-sized desert world with one small moon. The planet itself has copper deposits but lacks water and oxygen making it unhospitable for organic life. Temperatures range from -41° to 30°. Possible terraforming candidate or automated mining platforms could be placed."

"As I ventured through the system I picked up several stray signals of shipwrecks and debris floating around indicating signs of former battles in the system. Languedoc was mostly a battlefield during both Gallic Wars, where Council forces and their allies fought against the former Gallic Royal Navy. Debris Fields can be found around from destroyed installations such as the Remoulins Wreck (F4) a former GMS base and the Montpellier Debris Field (F6) which are remnants of base construction projects, aswell as mine field clearing."

"Most recent signals are from battles by Confederal Forces against the Imperial Kusari Navy, as the Restored Kusari Empire declared war on them recently. At the Nimes Station (E5), which is damaged and its docking facilites are offline the wreck of the Battleship Pinot, aswell as larger sized Kusarian vessels such as their battlecruiser can be found."

"Languedoc has three asteroid fields and one nebula. With exception of the Averyon Nebula and its asteroid field the other fields are merely hideout places for some considered unlawful factions and maybe have hidden installations and show no signs of significant ressources."
