Miss McLeod.

I'm not accepting your application at this juncture, primarily because you appear to be inexperienced as a combat pilot. We're a force that operates along the lines of raiding foreign commerce for the purpose of waging a war on the Junkers, hoping to one day oust them from Liberty entirely and then emancipate our fellow men from the system that restricts so many of us.

I want you to think about what you're doing, and to think really hard over whether this is a step you want to take, there's no going back from it. You'd still be valuable to us as a benefactor who can access legal markets and bring us supplies, perhaps more valuable than what you would be as a wanted woman actively serving the cause.

That said, I'm not exactly rejecting this application either, I'm just putting it to the side for the time being. When you've thought about this sufficiently and made your choice, then you can contact me personally to state what that choice is. We'll work from there.
