About the employer: Clan Shimamori is a noble house originating as a cadet branch of Samura imperial clan in 726. Since then the clan has assumed its role as a separate noble clan with nominal relations to Samura imperial dynasty for political reasons and not to infringe the status of the imperial House. Nowadays the Clan is led by koushaku Shimamori Masahito, 47, daimyo of Nakashibetsu, a fief on Haneda island, planet Honshu. The young clan refrains from meddling into commerce and corporate business and draws most of income from finance operations on the local stock exchange, as well as from limited banking activity. Shimamori also are patronise arts and science, supporting various activities and offering scholarships at local Tenmei University. Recently, the clan is also engaged in political discussions regarding the war with Gallia and the future of the Empire of Kusari, holding a firm anto-war conservative stance.

Retainer (陪侍)

Description: retainers are professionals with expertise in combat and warfare. Most retainers are hired on a contract basis as security officers. Those who have proven their skill and loyalty to the clan can join the retinue, i.e. be hired on a permanent basis to until death or being relieved by the lord, and enjoy greater benefits. Small yet professional retinue representing the military prowess of the clan. The retinue is a more broad and modern interpretation of the samurai who the daimyo of the past used to keep. Responsibilities: Rendering armed protection to Shimamori clan members Carrying out missions involving the risk of violence or requiring warfare skills Providing expert counselling on warfare matters Representing of Shimamori clan as a proud bushi (//warrior) of Kusari Requirements: citizenship of Kusari age of 18 or more clean criminal record military experience of at least 2 years (KNF, KSP, or other relevant organisations)

Journalist (記者)

Description: Shimamori Clan supports All Honshu Network (AHN), a media company from Honshu. A particular focus of AHN is the news, both domestic and international. Keeping such news agency running requires journalist to travel around, collecting stories, interviews, and keeping eyes peeled on whatever is going on in the sector. Responsibilities: Collecting news materials within and outside Kusari Designing and taking interviews with persons of interests Media coverage of clan's affairs and other important to Kusari matters Popularising of Kusari's culture and way of life Supporting clan's publicity Preparing stories for AHN alone or in cooperation with editors Requirements: citizenship of Kusari age of 18 or more clean criminal record journalist education and/or relevant experience for at least 2 years

Researcher (研究者)

Description: as of recently koushaku Shimamori chairs a group of explorers and researchers from multiple universities and research institutions set to find new systems on the borders of Kusari with habitable planets in line with the proposed by Shimamori policy of peaceful imperial expansion by colonisaiton of new worlds. Special need is in astronomers, astrophysicists, and stellar cartographers, however xenobiologists, geologists, and other scientists can also greatly contribute to the exploration endeavour. Responsibilities: Providing scientific expertise on relevant matters Providing research support throughout the expedition Recording and cataloging observed and received through analysis data Academic representation of Shimamori clan Requirements: citizenship of Kusari or valid visa (can be provided by Clan Shimamori) Ph.D. diploma in relevant field(s) of research or MSc/MA with over 3 years research practice after graduation, or extensive research practice (over 5 years) clean criminal record in Kusari and other Houses not belonging to a faction considered hostile by the House of Kusari Academic publications are a plus

Aside from the requirements listed, it is expected that the candidates possess good moral qualities, such as diligence, integrity, respect for Kusarian laws and traditions, etc. These are taken for granted for the candidates interested in the positions. However, failing to adhere to basic human decency throughout the employment can result in termination of employment contract despite professional performance.
