Born in 789 on the planet Pittsburgh, John Scott grew up in poor circumstances. His father died in a mining accident, which was covered up by the authorities. Thus, the first aversion to everything that has to do with the government of Liberty and the work of DSE. When he came of age, he signed on with a local transport ship and was noticed for his good skills with the ship's guns, as well as for his loud mouth and quick-tempered temper. In his free time he spent a lot of time in the local taverns gambling and drinking.
It was during this time that he met his future 1st Lieutenant and friend Paul "Al Biznasty" Bissonette. The two signed on together on various expeditions into the far reaches of the universe. However, the hidden resentment towards the government never completely disappeared.

After an evening of gambling and drinking, Scott felt betrayed and after a wild battle of words, a brawl was instigated against him and Al Biznasty. They fought bravely but the fight was quite one-sided and both Scott and Biznasty took nasty blows, with the end result that they wanted to punish Scott for his smart mouth, so they took a hot knife and cut off his tongue.

The brawl was then interrupted by the rushing Libertypolice. After the players in the dive unilaterally testified that the brawl had originated with Scott and Bissonette, both were arrested and taken to the Huntsville jail station. There, their hatred for the authorities continued to grow and both vowed to stop supporting this corrupt system, and they also vowed to always stand up for each other.

After several years of hard labor, beatings and humiliation by the prison officials, the two were freed by chance during a mass breakout by the Liberty Rogues. Satisfied with the idea of being subject to no laws except their own values, they decided to join the rescuers. After only a few months aboard a Rogue Hellhound, they were able to afford their first ship. This is also where Scott made his name as "Silent Scott". From now on, both worked independently on their own ship and made a name for themselves as successful smugglers and pirates within the Rogues.

But also the local police authorities became aware of the duo and so it came, as it had to come and a raid on a, from the LPI, staged transport failed. However, they managed to escape to the Badlands, badly damaged. The old ship, the ScottNasty, was so badly damaged that they had to buy a new one.

The Scowerer represents the engineering art of the Rogues, it is not only excellently equipped, but at the same time fast, maneuverable and firing strong.

Until today, the authorities have not been able to capture Silent Scott or Biznasty or put them out of action permanently...
