[Doc Holliday]

They made small talk as Doc pushed her down one hallway after another. For such a small base, it seemed larger than it was. It was actually taller than it was long so a trip up a turbo lift was common. Much to his approval, Niki seemed to just remain curled up in Sonja's lap. A lot of what they were passing were operating rooms, intensive care units and recovery rooms. Small cafes were scattered about as people were constantly coming and going and it was convenient for them to grab a drink on the run. Coming out of another turbo lift, they passed a large window. Behind it was a large scanner type unit over a flat bed. On the bed was a badly burned man sedated in a medically induced coma, so badly burned that recognizing him as a person was difficult. He was naked as the large bar began passing overhead and red solid laser light sheet touched every part of him. It moved slowly. Whatever flesh it passed looked like new skin. Doc smiled with pride as he explained it to her, watching together as it worked.

"We call it The Rejuvenator," he began. "It was a gift to us from someone many years ago and we were able to replicate another. The other is aboard Med Force One."
His smile grew a bit, "It is simply an awesome machine. Its only drawback is the amount of power it uses. We can only use it once a day and we only use it on cases like that man."
They sat watching as the bar was now starting up the man's chest from the base of his neck. He also pointed out that the man was levitating.
"Powerful jets of air keep him afloat as it were so that the lights can get underneath as well. It is also good for severe scarring on someone. As I said, it is simply incredible."
Normally, he was on the other side of the glass but not today. The doctor inside waved to them as he worked. Doc was beaming with pride as they sat and watched.
