A Message to the Fleet Admiral: Dear Sir,
I have developed an illness that has taken most of my energy from me, I have a high fever, with aches and pains across the body. I do feel that I will beat this virus but it has come to a cost.
For this reason, I'd like permission for emergency medical leave, and to please announce Eric Jackson as your next of kin, and second in command. This position if fit correctly is to become permanent then my leave, is to restrict my rank and authority to Commodore.
I do not know how long this virus will take to leave, or once its over I'll not be able to for-fil my role as Admiral. This news may come to a shock to you, but I'm thinking of the strike force's greater future. I'm happy to proceed as Delta Wing's Commander and Chief.
Otherwise, please I forfeit my role as Admiral. As I simply cannot do this right now.
I understand there is no coming back from this resignation from your high command.
