However I'd like to point out that a lot of new players lack knowledge of the forums, don't use it, or just don't use the forums that much.
New players don't join OFs right away, frankly it seems they rather join something far simpler, like an unofficial faction, or just a group, like 46th|, guess that's something they've done right.

My point is, it's hard to help out new players as an OF member if they don't show interest in the first place. Liberty factions have an advantage, because the starting system is there, allowing them to "advertise" their factions to new players right on the spot.

Excellent point, though it didn't stop Meg from bringing up a pretty big faction in Kusari, thanks to, and I kid you not, *waving and being nice to new players*. But the point about Penn stands a strong one.

That said we'll surely work with OFs, veterans and new. Point that started all this was farming for minimum activity. I agree with Karlotta on some things that might cause it.
