New Tokyo System

Down in the hangars, I reach for the access codes of the Jestak. As I launch my ship I know my instincts are up as usual. That is, when I found several KNF officers surrounding my ship. They were the usual type, as far as I know. Only the light of Disani could save me, and I took it for granted. They even brought in most of their officers to confront what seemed like an ordinary Kusari Explorer. In these tense moments I found myself doing what was the only thing left: to fight and never give up.

Fortunately I was not surrounded entirely by the Naval Forces. Sooner enough a Gen'an strike group engaged the Naval Forces. While I knew I would never win in such a fight, I yielded to my tradition. And it proved to be my savior. When my computer systems began to fail, I found myself on a collision course with the capital planet. Surprisingly I wasn't afraid at all. What I experienced next was truly breathtaking.

As soon as I heard explosions ripping through my vessel, I found myself surrounded in white light. "Is that the Light, Disani?" I inquired myself. To my surprise I was alive, even in those "final" moments.

Hokkaido System

I was taken to the medical bay on the central hall of Ainu for treatment of minor injuries. When I told about my experiences, the doctors were baffled. Eventually I explained them as hallucinations. Personally I think of them as the "light" calling me to do one final task: meet it. As fate would have it, I took aboard a shuttlecraft and set my computer in autopilot.

During that time I composed another poem:

"Tátas dušHr̥táwas n̥smáy gʲámanti" (Then the hard times come to us)
"HaHĉú kʲakráH Háranam pántaHm̥ tárHanti" (Swiftly as the wheels cross the rough path)
"Hyáwdʰāmas HyadáH mr̥tyúš Hsn̥tyás bʰabʰúHa" (We fight, even when death is certain)
"TátHaH Hiwa nas kʲáranam dʰr̥tám bʰabʰúHa" (And thus our culture has endured)
