Ruhr Mining Facility was built by Daumann Heavy Construction at the beginning of 828 AS in the system of Stuttgart for the processing ore deployed from Omega-7 and Omega-11 deposits. The pirates, Red Hessians in particular, is an often problem that Daumann has to face while running their attempt to monopolize the mineral market in Rheinland.

The facility is based on the Hugenpoet D1, which is developed on a platform of its successor of C2, provides the station with significant storage size while lacks defensive capacities and therefore requires more ships and humans to be involved in the patrolling area of the station. However, the sacrifice of defensive capacities is fully compensated by the increased income which comes from goods commerce. This kind of station is often to meet within safe House borders, where the House patrols capable to rapidly respond any threat to appear.
