Admiral Vaillant already knows me. To all those who do not know me yet personally, I will introduce myself. I am Grand Admiral Golanski, the commanding officer of the Order Overwatch. I am personally liable for any diplomacy between the Gallic Union (back when it started, it was just a Confederacy) and The Order. I wish we were personally able to help you more with repelling the Kusari onslaught. However we were tied down with troubling developments down in the Omicron region. In a distant system in Omicrons, we had charted and explored a star system which would not be something out of ordinary if it weren’t for one thing… Libertonians got to it first, and had deployed the newest type of gate to reach us.

As of now Liberty Navy is bogged down in its own inefficiency caused by bureaucracy, lack of knowledge concerning local territory and unexpected threat that they had encountered in-system. I understand this threat may be potentially related to the Nomads, however hostility of most officers stationed in “Nu” as it is called by both sides prevents any permanent research detail to investigate the situation properly from the Order side. We are limited to incursions and obtaining info from sympathizers which leaves a lot to be desired given Liberty’s own inadequacies which cannot be blamed on those particular individuals. Liberty is not a threat at the moment, but they are too close to home nonetheless. The very same gate that was used to link Liberty reinforcements to Poole is suspected.

In response, we have reinvigorated the surveillance program on the Great House of Liberty, renewed our attempts to subvert their developments in the region by covert means, as well as turn their agents to our side wherever possible. As far we are aware, not even our own sympathizers in their ranks know about our involvement. However with their dissolution and presumed re-assignment to Navy and Intel, we are ready to focus our efforts on Union’s new government agencies.
