On patrol with La Maréchaussée de Gaule (MdG) unit, we ventured into Edinburgh from Orkney. During the patrol one of the Maréchaussée discovered a Marquis vessel and all units converged on its location. Upon my arrival I was surprised to discover a unknown Gallic Battlecruiser operating in the area, upon further inspection it became obvious that it was laden with equipment and weaponry of the Nomads.
The vessel was intercepted by both my firing of cruise disrupters and the Maquis. After doing so the ship threatened that I would perish if I did so again, evidently it managed to kill the Maquis after the terrorist had been swarmed by the MdG. Attempts to gain further information from the ship resulted in the claim that it has been permitted to operate within our space. Judging this to be a ploy to save it from destruction, I engaged the vessel with the assumption of aid from La Maréchaussée de Gaule. Which I did not receive.
The vessel managed to escape, and my ship was severely damaged attempting to cripple it. I had to make an emergency landing on Planet Bordeaux to send this report. Once I stablise my ship I will return to Gallia with haste. This message might not be received in time, communication here is sketchy.
