Flowers and cookies

Isla frowned for a second, as if something confused her. The look in her face made it quite obvious that she was thinking of something as Tricia spoke, and not ten seconds later she begun laughing at herself.

"Did I really ask if the coffee is fresh or organic? Gosh.. I know it's fresh! I meant to ask if its organic or synthetic!" She replied, giggling. "I'm sorry Trish, but thankfully you understood what I meant." She kept speaking, eventually calming down.

"Well, there's no need to feel bad about that," she tightened the grip on her hand as she continued, "the coffee you've got here is really high quality, I already told you I love it!" Isla felt bad for a moment, an emotion of sadness being painted on her face. She didn't mean to make Tricia feel bad that her coffee wasn't organic, her remark was mostly about how the beverage really -felt- as if it was organic.

Isla dived back in on her salad as Tricia spoke and by the time she was finished, Isla was done with her salad and was ready to move on to her toast and her fried egg, but waited for Tricia to get there as well.

"It's funny how many creative little gadgets you have around here, including your very own coffee brewer for fresh aromatic coffee! Having your place in mind would make my apartment look boring and dull if we had ever visited it." Isla smiled as she said that. Part of her smile was because of Tricia's last statement and part of it was because of something she just thought of. "Did I tell you that I spent a good amount of time this week packaging my stuff back home? I don't think I told you... soooo... I'm telling you now! I still haven't finished looking over my work schedule and adjusting that to Bayport time, but that's essentially the next step!"

The heart-warming smile on her face was almost contagious as she spoke, being completely unable to hide how hyped she was about her imminent move to Tricia's place.
