The conflict between the Corsairs and Outcasts has been locked in a bitter stalemate for months. Despite audacious raids, the corsairs have been continually driven back out of outcast territory, while distractions from Gallia keep the outcasts from mounting any meaningful offensives of their own.

The main front through the omicrons is well guarded and heavily contested, which has lead both sides to launch probing expeditions through the Sigmas. These expeditions occasionally meet.

Battleground

---

The battle will be fought in Sigma-19. The Outcast forces will start at the jump hole to Omicron Beta, while the Corsair forces start at the Jump Hole to Sigma-17. Combatants are free to engage anywhere in the system.

Each task group will consist of a battleship and supporting fighter elements. The objectives are to destroy the enemy battleship, while preserving your own.
