Greetings, Command

Earlier today a meeting took place in Coronado between myself, Fleet Admiral Cleveland and Captain Hawkins of the Order's Section 8. I will get into some details regarding Captain Hawkins in order to bring you up to date.

Hawkins is the commanding officer of the Unto Nightfall, a Resheph-class reconnaissance cruiser belonging to the Order. The Unto Nightfall is a ship the Akhetaten has shared many moments with as it was sighted at Omicron Nu multiple times along with Overwatch strike forces, back at the time when the Akhetaten was not part of the Fifth Fleet. We have fought side by side with Captain Hawkins multiple times against common enemies of the Order and the Republic and she has proven to be a valuable asset to us over time.

Slowly moving on towards the present, with our presence in Coronado spiking, it seems that the Unto Nightfall has been deployed at Coronado, now operating in the Independent worlds that surround Liberty while the Section 8 generally operates within Liberty as well. The purpose of their deployment is to monitor and gather intelligence on Nomad and Auxesian forces that are sighted around the neighboring systems.

Captains Hawkins helped the Akhetaten just a few days ago when we were engaged by a battlecruiser belonging to the Insurgency as well as by two Auxesian snubcraft. The cruiser uncloaked in the vicinity and helped keep the snubcraft off of us, giving us the ability to successfully take down the battlecruiser. Unfortunately, the outcome of that engagement was outside Hawkins' control as a few Coalition bombers joined the Auxesians after a couple of minutes, managing to successfully disable the Akhetaten. Our backup that arrived moments later helped tow us back to Norfolk for repairs. I will be attaching the relevant information on this incident that I recorded during entry twenty of my Captains logs below.

With that being said, and Captain Hawkins' background understood, we finally arrive to today's events. The meeting that took place had the purpose of a possible cooperation between the Fifth Fleet and the Section 8. This cooperation involves around two major points; Section 8 relaying all intel regarding Auxesian moves directly to me, while I will be relaying all intel regarding Nomad presence in Liberty directly to them. Fleet Admiral Cleveland viewed this cooperation as something that could be fruitful to Liberty and three of us came to an agreement, the terms of which are attached below.

Terms

The above terms are to be kept in mind at all times by any pilots belonging to Fifth. The Admiralty is responsible to further forward these terms to the rest of the Fleet to assure that they aren't violated. Any information exchanges between Section 8 and the Fifth Fleet will be done at Hawkins and my own discretion, however, the Admiralty will be informed for anything that I consider important enough to require it's approval.

Provided the Akhetaten's increased presence in Coronado for the time being and for the foreseeable future, Fleet Admiral Cleveland has put me in charge of all diplomatic relations between the Fifth Fleet and Section 8. It would be highly optimal if the above terms weren't violated by any means, but if they do end up being violated I would like to be informed so I can discuss the matter with Captain Hawkins. A secure network has already been established by Section 8 between me and Hawkins, making trading of information easy for both sides.

Captain Hawkins has forwarded a list of Section 8 vessels that receive the treatment agreed to in the above terms. I am attaching this list now. For any updates to this list, I will be letting you know through future reports.
