Although the Outcasts technically won the previous battle, the Reconquista was little more than a wreck when she was towed back to Omicon Alpha for repairs. With both sides suffering catastrophic damage to their capital ships, a more cautious follow-up is warranted.

The Outcasts have sent a task group of battlecruisers and destroyers to reinforce the Terico, currently patrolling the Hiryu Cloud in Sigma-19. The Corsairs, for their part, have sent their own fleet of light capital ships into Sigma-19 for reconnaissance in force.

The outcome of this battle will determine the location and nature of the next battle.

The battle will be fought in Sigma-19. The Outcast forces will start at the Battlecruiser Tercio , while the Corsair forces start at the Jump Hole to Sigma-17. Combatants are free to engage anywhere in the system.
