Good day Mrs Ward, Mr Toshinori,

Her Majesty's Government has accepted Kusari's terms. We urge the Crayter Republic and the Empire of Kusari to be open for compromise in your own negotiations, for the greater good. The resolution of the Tau-31 Question satisfies our interests and I must point out that we have no reason to involve ourselves into the Helios affair. Its outcome is entirely up to Kusari and Crayter and our interest only goes as far as that an outcome is reached and without unnecessary and irresponsible delay.

I do, however, deem it courteous that we are informed why Crayter wishes to have separate negotiations from which we would be excluded and why those cannot be held here, or on Planet Harris, as I had hospitably offered before. It is true that our interests have been satisfied, but I personally hope that there is more than interest in our friendship with Crayter.
