Drop the pixel power and actually bother playing the game and maybe you wouldn't get upset about this sort of thing.
Oh yeah but the current way of doing things keeps only a few happy with their pixel possessions, and leaves no one outside of the staff with any real fairly accessible way to do anything but fly around and die. What stimulates a reason to play when you can't do anything? and there is no fair guaranteed system for everyone? So its that way already, but why keep it only really influencable to a small minority of players? The truth is until we open up to allow for more options and guaranteed avenues for player actions, its not ragequitting that's the danger, its lack of interest resulting in not much more than 30 people online at any give time, excluding sundays, but that spike lasts about 3 hours. Without a more detailed way for players to effect the common world (yes, that is a normal thing that should be accomodated for long ago), people should consider themselves lucky some still come here to attempt factions at all.
Want to see this place come alive again? (making it actually worth staying all this time and putting in serious effort) Let the zoner factions and their derivatives fight turf wars over bases. Let all factions do this, employ a faction chellenge system, give OF's 'the 6th right' that I suggested to fight to change control of stations. I remember the ZA days, in retrospect it was much better having something to do than not. There was always another real crisis popping up from people making bold moves. That was actually better than what we have today. People think that since its an RP server you're only supposed to want to fly aimlessly and talk with no real application of gameplay.
