The Désertines was built by the Council in 741 as a response to the Triumph class destroyers hitting the field. It served most of its time patrolling home space, keeping an eye on the Champagne system with a mostly unremarkable life. During Gallia's shattering and the chaos surrounding the Confederacy, Eugène was able to keep command of his ship, joining his Council comrades on the righteous side of the law. With the Gallic Union taking form, he was restationed to the Provence system where it serves as a patrol craft.
