Dear High Command,

Today .......... (large pause).....SIGH we saw an attack on Manhattens Defense ring like no other attack.

Nomad Ships somehow appearing from knowhere and baiting our Forces into a trap which was sprung with precision. Although we do not know how these entities coordinate, this attack was of a mass never seen before within Liberty.
Our forces were lured out of the defense ring and commenced a precision attack which was going relatively well and we managed to repel the wave we found. BUT ..... once that wave was repelled, another wave appeared behind us and cut us off from Manhatten, and it started to go a bit wrong.
We had 2 Overlords and an Assault carrier present and we took casualties hard as we were pounded by massive pulses from the Nomad ships. These ships seemed to be more agressive and alot harder to kill than ordinary ones we have encountered before.
I instructed Admiral Wayne Blake van Leer to contact all Liberty forces about this attack and stress our concerns that this attack was not monitored or picked up by not even our scout recoil vessels.

This is the time for all libertonians to show diligence and be wary of more attacks as the weeks go by. We do not know the extent of the Nomad force, but we do know that some vessels managed to escape mid fight and did not return.

All 46th vessels have been put on high alert and we will be stepping up our patrols within Liberty.

The 46th Fleet will keep Liberty safe and also repel any hostiles alongside the primary Fleets.
