I suppose i should tell ya a bit about my intentions and what not in this transmission so here goes...


Basicly me and my brother we are looking to join your cause, i suppose i should tell you abit about me since you will want to know before signing me on. Well its like this chum, me and my bro are from the stuttgart system. Back in the day my old man was a respected captain in the rhineland military, even had 'is own gunboat to command.

Yea those were nice times, me and my brother. we planned to enroll in the military academy as well once we got to age 16, too bad the nomad wars changed all that. Now i know your a smart guy so i wont go giving you a history lesson, but as you know rhineland did some things the rest of the regions didnt like none to much, well my old man agreed with this as well, so much so that he defected in the midst of a key battle, dont got all the details since i was just a kid.

All i know is he helped out some kusari folks and in the process got his fool ass blasted into space dust along with his crew. Course you can guess how happy the brass was with that. You got any idea what they do to the family of traitors in rhineland? it aint pretty my friend, i just thank gawd or whoever that my ma was already passed on by then and i had no sisters.

sorry guess i am ranting again, Regardless me and my brother were basicly tossed out on the streets, Everything the family had was gone thanks to my good old man. We ended up growing up in the shadows, 'twas not a very pretty life, wont deny we did some crazy things to survive on the streets. Even ended up working for a fellow helping him do his dirty work.

Dont get me wrong, we didnt do anything deplorable like rape or murder, naw we just hit up the local gangs and fat cat merchants who were abusing the community, went pretty well for several years like that, too bad our employeer fragged up on a run we were doing. We ended up pissin off some guys we didnt want to, they got their panties in a tangle and next thing you know me and my bro are scrapping up every last penny we had to get our hoop out of the frying pan.

We bought us a junky used starflier and got our butts off that hunk of rock and out of rhineland space.

So there you go, there is my back ground. as to why I want to join? Well lets just say i got nothing to lose, need a bit of cash flow to keep alive, grew up in the shadows after all. Dont get me wrong chum, i am for the most part a peace loving chummer, i dont go waving my guns around 'less i got ta.

Currently I am docked with yer cute little sheffild station, was a pain flying here from kusari where me and my bro were laying low, i got nil gas in my tub anyways so i will be at the bar if you be interested in this partnership.

Well then Leon is a char that basicly is a victim of his parents choices but for the most part takes it all in stride, the way i RP him is a carefree guy who just wants to have fun. He really is a pacifist when it comes to certain issues and only goes after the targets intended for him. he is not the type to fire on every red ship he sees.

The RP story holds true to an extent about his brother as well, my cousin is playing this with me and we do missions together, he also wants to join but i will leave him to his own devices on joining.

Lets talk about RP a bit. I have role played since i was a young teen, cut my teeth on the classic stuff like D&D and white wolf table top games, If you have not noticed Leon has a very strong shadowrun influence in his speach and attitude using such slang as "Chummer" or "Pulling your hoop out of the frying pan".

Me personally, i have played freelancer and beaten it twice, also did the whole song and dance afterwards of finding the best ships and getting nomad weapons etc. Now with that said i do not claim to be a skilled pilot against players since i have yet to have my first dog fight with one. Hopefully you can forgive this.
