. . Mapping: Thuringia System Superficial scan reports the Thuringia System has multiple nebulas covering a significant area. Also, scanners are acting up around Sector D6... Thuringia System PART ONE Rift Anomalies Bering Rift, Sector D2 Frankfurt Rift, Sector E6 Hamburg Rift, Sector B6 Stations Tennstedt Base - VISUAL Location: Sector C2 Bundschuh operated base. Seen as a resupply point for travellers going between Liberty and Rheinland. Cruiser Sachsenwald - VISUAL Location: Sector B3 A Unioners cruiser... out here? Don't know what they want, but this is the only point of presence in the system. Valhalla Shipyard - VISUAL Location: Sector C5 Again, what's with these bases attacking a freelancer!? A Liberty Battlecruiser shot me during my last job! Battleship Bayern - VISUAL Location: Sector D6 A Rheinland Battleship. Marking indicate it's controlled by the Military, but the crew on board acted a little more secretive than any normal battleship personnel... Jena Station - VISUAL Location: Sector F5 There's really weird ships docked here. Scans of the moored vessels show there's no cockpit... Pilot-less vessels? What? Fort Sommerda - VISUAL Location: Sector F5 Was able to dock, but everything was kinda locked down. This system is so weird... no one wants to share anything. Planets Planet Weimar - VISUAL Location: Sector F6 Hard to not see the Capital ships for sale on their market platform. Weimar looks to be run by the same people who operate Bayern. The rest of the planets in this system are uninhabited. Mostly molten rocks, lava, or it's a gas giant. Deployments Federal Resupply Station - VISUAL Location: F6 This little installation could use a few replacement hull panels. Can't tell you any more than that when their docking bays are frozen. Oddities and Dangers Frankfurt Jump Gate / Hole Construction - VISUAL Location: F4 There's a Jump Gate ring spinning around a rift that goes to Frankfurt... Never seen that before... Minefield - VISUAL Location: E4 / F4 A dense minefield surrounds Fort Sommerda and the Frankfurt Rift. There's three tunnels, marked with buoys to get in and out. Three Rheinland Battlecruisers are waiting inside this area. Wreck: "Unknown Cargo Pod" - VISUAL Location: D2 "Property of the Rheinland Government" Okay... I can't blast it open to see what's inside. A mystery for another time... Wreck: "Klaus Spielberg" - VISUAL Location: C4 Black box records show that the pilot was a civilian explorer... shot down by a passing Rheinland Military patrol. Rest in peace. Wreck: "Munin" - VISUAL Location: B4 The equipment on board appears to be notably more advanced than standard Rheinland technology. The scan feedback is similar to Jena Station... AI fighters? Wreck: "Marburg" - VISUAL Location: G5 A Red Hessian cruiser... most of it's hull has been blasted open, leaving behind the internal structures keeping it together. Wreck: "Hugin" - VISUAL Location: G4 Another Rheinland AI fighter drone... I have a feeling I shouldn't be here when these things wake up - if they ever do. Wreck: "Heldrungen Wreck" - VISUAL Location: F3 Looks like a Prison Station, located within a minefield. No way in, no way out. The lights have been blown out and I can't get any signal... Wreck: "Biohazard Cargo Pod" - VISUAL Location: F2 Marked for disposal, eh? I'll just leave it here. Wreck: "Johnathan Whitmore" - VISUAL Location: F2 An ex-marine Libertonian fighter... blackbox shows Whitmore was some kind of Dare-Devil? Probably died doing what he loved. Wreck: "Olaf Thornblad" - VISUAL Location: F2 First vessel whose pilot was a double agent! Well now, there's an interesting little piece! Thuringia System PART TWO According to the crew on board Tennstedt Base, the nebula occupying the southern end of Thuringia is quite the natural disaster. One person told me: The Suhl expanse is a naturally occurring nebulae. Nothing is as mysterious as the Suhl, which you can almost not even see! Crazy! There's some crazy chemicals or composites that aid the Suhl with system-wide disturbances that heavily disrupt scanners and communication systems. Rumour has it that the MND experimented with military jump technology. Sounds extremely dangerous. So this is Part Two: the Suhl Anomaly. Worth investigating? Yes. Suhl Anomaly - VISUAL Location: C6 to D7 Explosive pockets are everywhere in this sector! I steered a little too far away and one pocket blew my shields out! There's buoys marked to get into the centre, from Battleship Bayern. Wreck: "U-32" - VISUAL Location: D6 Oder-class gunboat... torn apart by this anomaly. Wreck: "Natalie Koch" - VISUAL Location: D7 Oder-class gunboat... torn apart by this anomaly. Wreck: "Von Preußen" - VISUAL Location: D6 Battlecruiser wreck... not much left of it. Just a spinning disc in space... Wreck: "Karl Speer" - VISUAL // ERROR, TOO FAR INTO ANOMALY Location: C7 Admiral Karl Speer of the Rheinland Military... the anomaly is preventing the rest of the Military to secure the wreckage... damn, imaging being in there alone... Meningen Research Station - VISUAL Location: C7 Classified - everything. Can't get a lick of info on this place. Docking bays are here, but frozen.
