Urgent message to Research department,

It has come to my attention that Vega location was found. While it seems that the ship managed to jump just several away from the original designated destination, a salvage mission is required. Our obligation to save the crew and the ship, as Vega was left alone as Hyperion jumped to catch Corefleet. We are in debt.

I’m reading through all the automated reports that our engineers managed to decrypt and it seems that the crew wouldn't be able to repair the ship by itself due to the patted condition of the main systems.

I heard of wormhole generator technology, that’s what we could get in use. While we never tried to get in use of such technology, we couldn’t put the salvage mission at risk. Build a prototype and test it out on route, let's say from Kadesh Orbital Colony to Freeport 14. Per success and stable result of the mission we will open the next wormhole with Omicron-74, as the coordinates of our once home system are still in the database.
