I have indeed received the same report from our mining craft and have instructed them to examine the structure more closely.
The base seems to have been recently constructed in a hasty fashion. Its transponder transmits no IFF and it would appear to be derelict and adrift.
Most concerning is its close proximity to the Iridium Field as this base resides on its outer edge about 6km from the center.
My suggestion at this moment is to move for its removal, with of course adequate time to examine the base more thoroughly and evacuate any persons that may still be trapped on board and in need of humanitarian assistance. The Titan has disembarked with support vessels from Athens Station. I am directing the task force to assemble at Delta Mining Corp. in orbit of Planet Tuvalu before moving onto the base.
Until then I request that you begin to broadcast the general alert that the destruction of the base is imminent and all persons able to leave should do so immediately.
