King chuckled at all the flattery, though in reality he found it rather offputting. Knowing that in an official capacity she was expected to put on a show of respect often, and he hated disingenuous behavior. Though the real reason he chuckled was because he realized that every house seemed to be the same in that regard, not just Liberty, and despite that grim reality, he still somehow managed to find it amusing."You can stop with all the formality. Didn't come all this way just to kill you for offending me, I might be a terrorist in some people's eyes, but I ain't a rogue. I'll kill you lookin' you in the eyes, and for an actual reason."

King noticed her deep thought, hesitancy and anxiety, though he did not comment. He lifted his left gloved hand off his belt toward the tunnel into the main part of the Barrier station, as if motioning her to follow before he turned and began his stride, which was surprisingly proud for his almost hood rat clothing. "Call me whatever you want, just don't call me a liar."
