Greetings,

I remember working with you and your organization in the past, and I am personally all in favor of advancing scientific knowledge.

However, If I recall correctly, you are unable to enter the house of Liberty due to past events, and it is illegal for me to be working with you. While I could enquire and confirm this with the Government, I feel this may be detrimental to our friendship.... And frankly, I do not really care to know. You have not done anything I see as a threat to Deep Space Engineering, and as long as it stays that way I have no reason to turn you away.

When it comes to the Government and you, whether you are friendly or otherwise, technological advances do not happen overnight, nor do they happen when political nonsense interferes. This being the case, I am more than willing to hear you out on what you are needing from us, and I will help wherever it is possible to do so.

In saying that, before we continue with any discussions, there are two conditions that are non negotiable; The first is my crew is not to be involved in any communications, as far as it goes, outside those who are selected to be involved, no one in my company is to know about this for safety purposes (plausible deniability is a brilliant thing). And the second is if Liberty asks, we do not know you, we do not work for you, we do not care to know who you are or what you do - and we have certainly never sent or received any form of communications to or from you.

I am sure you understand why.
