As far as the acronym for SOB, Yes, we know what it also means & Yes, it is intentional. As we hope to see many traders & enemies state "Those SOB's robbed/killed me" It's all in the advertising smile.gif

I still recommend that you change the name though... Think about it, would you name your militant revolutionary organization so that it becomes an acronym for a derogatory term?

I can understand something like the "Sovereign Order of Bartholomew" to accidentally acquire the SOB acronym, but naming the faction something just to get the acronym is a bit iffy.

This, of course, is just my personal opinion. I'm sure that some agree and others disagree, but at the end, it comes down to your personal style of roleplay. Please don't feel offended if I find your choices weird or unconventional.

I'll be perfectly honest with you. We have never had a faction with relatively good RP and organization do what you are doing with the name. I'll list some examples of similar existing and historical organizations...

RoS - Reapers of Sirius
SA - Southern Alliance
SF - Sirius Federation
LS - Liberty Sentinels
RM - Rheinland Military
RHA - Red Hessian Army
TBH - The BrotherHood
OPG - Omega Pirating Guild
UoG - Union of Gold
NLH - Nature's Last Hope

My point? All of these factions, have a name for the purpose of RP, not so that the name also doubles as an oath that works as an "advertisement." Call me anal-retentive, but names are an important part of anything. Name your faction as you would if you were a guerilla in the future of Freelancer.
