Cassandra "Sunny" Sulivan was born and Raised onboard the Culebra Smelter in the Puerto Rico System. She Grew up under her Grandmothers loving Care. Sunny's mother left the Kid as she found out that Sunny was a Mute but her Grandmother loved Sunny no matter what and Took Care of the Girl. The Old woman did her best to Earn a Living for the two of them but Culebra wasn't exactly a safe spot to Life and so she had to Fight Cancer Multiple times over the Years. But the Tow of them always made it, to Have Sunny at her Side Gave the Old woman the Strenght to Life and Fight. She always said to Sunny "I am too Stubborn to Die while you cant take care of your own". Sunny Loved her Grandmother from the Bottom of her Heart and so she began to Learn the works of an Engineer as soon as she could hold a Screwdriver, she began with the Disassembly of Scrap and Learned more and more over the Years. with 9 she Disasmambled her First engine and with 13 she Recycled her first Entire Ship. It was an Old Starflyer that had Drifted in the Scrap Fields of New York and was towed to Culebra.
The Girl quickly became one of the best Engineers of Culebra, but her Grandma looked at Sunny with Concern that she would have the same life as she had and that the Cancer would get its Dirty Fingers into her too. just some Days before Sunny turned 22 the Doctor told her Grandma that the Cancer had returned and that there was nothing he could do but give her more time before the end came this time. he gave her a Year at best and 6 Months at worst. as the Old woman sits down with her Granddaughter for dinner that night she made the decision to get her away from Culebra and Puerto Rico. On the next Day, she Looked for a used sip and found an Old Recycler. The ship Needed some Love and Repairs but the Old Woman was sure that she had enough time left so she could give her Beloved Granddaughter a good Start away from Puerto Rico and its Radiation.
Over the Next year Sunny and her Grandmother worked on the Recycler, they switched out the Damaged or Broken Parts and Replaced them with Recycled or if there were no other options New Ones. All this time the Old Woman kept it a Secret from Sunny that she was Slowly Dieing, she wanted to give her Granddaughter as many happy memories as she could before she had to leave the world. And it worked as it was the most Precious time for Sunny to work with her Grandmother on the Recycler. In the end, they Managed to Restore the Ship one month before the Old woman couldn't hide her Condition Anymore, Sunny became Sad like never before in her life and she Cried a lot. After she knew what would happen she never left the side of her Grandmother anymore. The Other Junkers on Culebra helped the both of them as well as they could so that Sunny and her Grandmother had the Time they needed to make Peace with the Situation.
In the end Sunny learned to Accept the Situation, her Grandmother would always be there for her in her Heart. The two of them Spend the Last 2 Weeks before her Grandmother Died Traveling. Sunny brought her Grandmother to the Nearby Liberty and even when she had hoped at first that the Doctors there could Safe her Grandmother she had to find out that some things can't be fixed. On her Last day Sunny brought her Grandmother to a Sunflower field on Planet Los Angeles, she told her Granddaughter that she gave her Nickname Sunny because her smile always Remembers her at the Beautifull Yellow Flowers. The Two of them sit down under a Big Tree that day and watched the Sunset over the Flower field. And with the Last Rays of the Sun Sunny found out that her Grandma didn't fall asleep but Peacefully Passed away.
