Boucher,

It is truly peculiar that so many people have ended up working for an organization such as the Maquis. Yet I strongly believe that we can set past differences aside and focus on our main task. I am well aware of the Mazagran Massacre, it was unavoidable and many of the former Council-men sought a faster and easier solution to the station and its... residents.

With that out of the way, I'll get to the matter you've mentioned. Boucher, as a former member of the Confederal Intelligence, I can assure you that the system of Lorraine is not well defended. Despite the change in leadership and the invasion by Kusari, the Navy and Intelligence function in the same way they did during the Confederacy when it comes to space operations - border-systems only have token defences at best. Aside from the battlegroup lead by the Venissieux, Lorraine is at large, not well protected. Pilots and even small warships may be able to freely bypass it as the patrols are stretched thin and do not cover anything other than the lane junctions and the planet itself. Nevertheless, I will do my best to complete the request you've put forth. Expect frequent updates on the situation.

Before ending the transmission, I would also like to attach the recent broadcast from the Gallic Seigneurs to the citizens. The broadcast is a direct response to the alliance made my Bretonia, Kusari and the Crayter Republic, focused on making the Union pay for the crimes they have commited during the reign of the Monarchy. You will find it below.

People of Gallia,

It has been only a short time since treacherous Sirians attacked our House unprovoked, and wounded our Nation, while the supposedly moral ones were watching and did nothing. Our pleas for aid have fallen on deaf ears. You have followed their rules, and complied with their requests, only to get stabbed in the back.

Now they gather at our borders under the guise of a so called 'Defensive Pact' against Gallia. They preach that this pact is for the safety of the region -- for their own safety, I am sure, but little do they care about Gallia and its prosperity. They use this pact to further their demands on our Nation, and sanction us when we do not bow. Do you want to pay for the upkeep of their crumbling spatial infrastructure? Do you want to pay them so they can rebuild the vessels they used to invade our House?

Difficult times lie ahead of us. They will try to divide us and manipulate us against each other. They will want to exploit our own resources and economy to mend their failing states.

For this very reason, we must stand united for the good of Gallia. Soldiers and civilians, nobles and commoners -- side by side, working together to safeguard our Nation. We must put aside our differences and redouble our efforts. We welcome those who will come to our aid and reject those who work against us. Our ancestors worked hard to turn Gallia into a powerful House, and we must continue their legacy, no matter the setbacks we had suffered, and will suffer.

Only the strong and confident GALLIC NATION will have a prosperous future in this otherwise hostile sector.

This is - without a doubt - an attempt to bolster the already-large Navy and it represents, to say the least, concerning to us as we've seen the remnants of the Republique fleet scrapped in the dockyards of Chalons-En-Champagne whilst new warships are build around the clock.

I will also attach a file from the the Confederal Intelligence Archive that lists the many crimes commited by the very people who lead the Bureau, and at large, Gallia itself. We should have no remorse for these people, yet for the time being and for the sake of assuring our edge over them when the time is right, I will work side by side with some of their agents.
