The comfort of the bed felt kept it's occupant sleeping for quite some time. A shuffle from Cruz caused the Starflier to wake up. With everything feeling a little too similar, the thought crossed Rex's mind that what we went through must have been a dream. Pain struck his right arm as he tries to lift himself up to sit on the mattress. The hole in his jacket arm shows a bandage between it and his own arm. Lifting the sleeve, the bandage is felt to be tightly wrapped with a strange dressing applied throughout. Once Rex was done examining his own arm, he locks eyes with a familiar face. Struggling to accept what happened, Rex repositions himself to be comfortable and proceeds to gently massage his arm.
"Cruz, was it? Can you explain to me what just happened? I didn't ask to be shot at."
