Let me just jump in with my bomber balance crusade here and say: Try and fight any cruiser or gunboat at 1k. I bet you will not hit it with an SN even once. In fact, it is impossible to hit a ship of those classes at anything more than 400-500m (and even then it can be hard, especially in the case of gunboats), unless it is not moving at all, which really doesn't happen all that often (and people being crappy pilots is no excuse). If bomber strafing is nerfed, they turn into big and useless bricks = more capwhoring.
Bombers are mostly fine, big bombers need a massive strafe increase and/or hitbox size decrease. If you want to nerf bombers against fighters, what you need to do is apply a turn rate decrease (NOT strafe). This way you will have bombers doing actual bombing runs while strafing incoming gunfire, but they won't be able to attack fighters at all.
