No sign of rescue... and at this point half my rations have been consumed! Currently writing my will. Don't have much to my name outside of the Starfliers. The schematics of the custom Enterprise-Class is the only one-of-a-kind thing I have. Maybe I'll try study the schematics on my device and cross them against the engineering of the pod. See if I can get something working.

My last message mentioned a binder, a previous edition that was left behind the bed. I've since found out why it's a previous edition. A few pages have been ripped out and the chapters regarding how the pod was built are missing. Ideally I'd like something to read so I know how things work, but I'm not in an ideal situation. So... I'm stuck out here. In Cortez. No scanners. No solars. A few days of rations left. Little hope of rescue. The most I can do is shine this flashlight outside the window of the pod's window. Trying to find the right angle so the light can reflect off these crystals and illuminate the area.

My next message will be when I'm close to exhausting my rations. I hope to god, if there really is one, that I'm saved before then.
