I always considered this diary format to be a waste of time. Sitting down in front of a camera, or just writing down one’s thoughts seems like a waste of time. Why should I write down my thoughts, or events of my life? I’m here to tell them, I'm not going anywhere.

Or so I thought. I won’t be here forever to tell them. Especially not considering this little mission I got myself into. Some might even miss me, if I disappeared without a trace. Given all that, I might as well start from the beginning. Just a quick summary, so I can actually talk about recent events.

Always the same beginning. Me and my awfully curious nature. When I saw Raven and Vinny, I didn’t have much of anything in mind. Stay around them for a bit, see what they are up to. Since Raven’s ship looked quite fancy, I figured I could squeeze a bit of money out of her. Not the usual means, no. I always used the term “piracy” quite liberally. You don’t need to hold anyone at gunpoint; there are other ways. You can try getting into their heads, and eventually people will pay you to not live in their cranium rent free. Of course, I didn’t do either in their cases. Just like a helpful LPI, I was the pirate you can trust. Something that shouldn’t really exist.

Okay, so. Here’s a quick version. Vinny poked some anomaly; it angered the lava lamps. I helped slow down the squids, while they ran to Hudson, and somewhere else later on. I got a fat check from Raven for helping them. This is where my involvement started, mostly because my curiosity got the better of me. I know a cat has 9 lives, but I’m not sure how many have I exhausted already. Curiosity might just kill the cat.

Whenever I meet up with those two, I end up in some situation related to these Nomads, or “Sentinels” as these ones are called. “Beam boys” would be perfectly appropriate too. What kind of situations do I mean? Here’s a list.

• Being chased by these Sentinels through Colorado.
  
• Getting thrown into some dead hellscape of a system with a Neutron Star, while trying to prevent Vincent from doing something stupid.
  
• Get shot by the Navy even more. (This is was bound to happen either way.)
  
• Chucked into some place with a huge sleeping sentinel in search of Vinny.
  
• Have one too many of my ships disabled.
  
• Plenty of confrontations, and other emotional stuff that I really didn’t need.
  
• Getting into situations where none can help the other.
  The list goes on, I’m just getting bored of this whole autobiography format. I’ll get back to it sometime later.
  

P.S.: If I do end up being killed, Ash is going to be really pissed off that I left her out of the first entry. Yup, it’s on purpose.
