Just as it looked like there may be a lasting impact on Lorraine with the masses of propaganda-riddled supplies from Sirius stacking up around the landing pads on Metz, chaos and fights broke out throughout the system and the Union forces that kept pouring in from Burgundy soon overwhelmed the various attackers, making space for Gallic food haulers and closing the path for the Sirian suppliers. With the abrupt retreat of the Liberation Front from the system, Lorraine once again fell under firm control of Gallic Union.
Even though Maquis efforts was not a success, Gallic people now know that Sirius does indeed care about the suffering of the common people of Gallia as the amount of supplies delivered to them has shown, and as a result, and Metz famine has been averted for months to come.
