As promised, a report on my meeting with Michael Raver's vessel "Watanagashi" in Omicron Lost:

I have arrived aboard DTR-Underminer, escorted by DTR-Atterador and DTR-Miguel. Watanagashi Was already at the RDV point waiting, and things went very smoothly.
A piece of homebrew hardware has been transferred aboard DTR-Underminer. It's said to be a simple "Plug & Play" device that'll help our sorting machinery find the artifact.

As for the artifact itself, it appears to have ancient origin. Something to do with the Dom'Kavash, predecessors to the Nomads. I will quote my ship's audio logs:

[22.11.2021 18:35:12] Watanagashi: Oh, well. Thought knowledge about Nomad race is pretty common amongst those who constatly deal with their artifacts.
[22.11.2021 18:35:32] Watanagashi: Them all, as well as nomads themselves - are remnants of an ancient long-gone race.
[22.11.2021 18:35:42] Watanagashi: You guys got the jump tech from Dom'Kavash as well.

[22.11.2021 18:36:42] Watanagashi: We are not sure if the artifact is active or not, so it might be. One of the reasons we are seeking professionals' help.
[22.11.2021 18:37:15] Watanagashi: We don't know the energy signature, so no way to speed the digging up. But your group is the safest bet for now.

As heard in the conversation above, we've received a team of scientists dedicated for the task. Watanagashi appears to be very resourceful.

Along with the scientists, Watanagashi appeared to carry a large variety of crew members and equipment. Those could come in handy in our future operations. I will attach the rest of the audio log:

I will forward the custom hardware and science team to our mining facility; we'll organize an artifact research lab from whatever equipment we have available ASAP.
I recommend that we get in touch with Michael Raver regarding an arrangement for our upcoming projects. Our future seems bright.
