Overview

---

The Red Syndicate are hardcore nationalists, at their core they believe Kusarians to be the greatest people and Kusari itself supreme. They blame foreign influence for every issue Kusari has had, notably the Gallic and Rheinland wars which have seen diplomacy fail and foreign battleships enroach on Kusari space. Mainline Ideologies aside, The Red Syndicate is a conglomeration of smaller organizations combined to promote their common interest. This allows different organisations within to pursue different objectives and often have opposing views.

Despite being a collection of many Hogosha organisations the overall group consistently houses 3 ruling matriarchs/patriarchs who steer the vision and direction for the Red Syndicate. These are normally lifelong serving roles which are dynastic in nature. A ruling member can only be replaced by someone of the same family unless that entire family has been replaced.



Legal activities

Trading - Only within the Greater Kusari, will sell to other houses but never purchase

Protection services - Although Civilians Members of the Red Syndicate appreciate and understand their support from Kusari's companies and government divisions and will almost always attack vessels in defence of their allies. There is a desire within The Red Syndicate to formalise security agreements, but they have never prioritised these engagements.

Law Enforcement - Many Hogosha members are authorised to enforce Kusari House law within Kusari and often commit citizen arrests, issue fines, and destroy contraband where appropriate.

Less than legal activities

Smuggling - The Red Syndicate seems to drop all its morals at the door when it comes to purchasing goods from Sirius's seedy underbelly. As long as its not from a lawful force they seem to be willing to buy almost anything from anyone, most notably artifacts.

Narcotics - The Red Syndicate openly has a hard no policy to Cardamine and enforces strict rules to ensure that the groups organisations aren’t affected by its blight. There is however a top-level project within the Syndicate involving Cardamine, even those who know about it have no idea what it is the Elders are trying to achieve but so far the results have been a tremendous failure. (*Shipx - explosion to be added)

Piracy - The Red Syndicate don't engage in piracy; they enact cargo reallocation procedures ensuring that Kusarians still receive the cargo but that the foreign interests lose profitability. The subject of piracy is a major issue of contention amongst the Syndicates elders as many believe that foreign goods = foreign culture and should be destroyed not sold on whereas some see it as an additional source of funding that discourages foreign shipping interests.


Goals

• Establish a deeper relationship with the current Kusari Government by adding value to Kusari as a whole.
• Building a stronger relationship with the Kusari State Police by providing intel on The Syndicates competitors
• Promote and advance Samura motives within and outside of Kusari
• Defining a support agreement with Kusari Naval Forces provide actual assistance and not just more civilian casualties.
• Advance native technology capacity.
