Results of day 1 are in. Even though Izanami-san failed to capture proper visual feed, we can confirm the validity of the claims and it is confirmed that the camera was busted. I have therefore arbitrarily decided to allow it.
But only once. Further instances of failure to capture visual feeds will invalidate the claims. So make sure to double check your gear.
