I understood that taking an open stance against the Gaians might cost me the base, but I figured it might come in the form of a siege. That base is legit, and under the circumstances I see no reason why I can't set it to hostile to whoever I want. With the extreme ease of the route, a little weapons fire as they come and go seemed fair. Why not just return to siege it if it's so bothersome? If you were going to go this route, you could have just removed it and saved the cover of the event. This seems to have been organized to distract away from the siege in Orkney (or take advantage of it), and is looking like the Gaians can just decide to invent an event to remove Gaia as a sell point for base supply commodities. Is this really changing the game by force again? I was willing to keep this fight in the game, but it seems this is just a highly one sided ploy.
Your base will be back with the next restart. When a Junker POB suddenly changes from "present" to "locked down" in a manner that affects a specific group of players running a new event (indeed it got my attention by killing a few while checking a JH bug), it's something we look into. I'm happy to continue this discussion elsewhere. - Squad
