Finally realising he couldn't be heard here and still feeling like a fish out of water, Israfel looked around and tried to figure out where the guest was supposed to be. It was the concealed shrine room there, wasn't it? He would need to go quite a way around to reach it or change the configuration.
And as he was heading there, still in a haze, he felt the room changing by someone's will. Was that another high-ranking Oracle? Then there was no need to leave this state yet. It could well be an incubus controlling one of those "reclaimed" by K'Hara.
The telepathic message passed over him and through him, and its path lead towards other Oracles. It was her voice.
– I'm already home, Saturnia, – Israfel said as he entered the shrine room. – I'm glad to see you again.
The world around him slowly regained its color, shape and depth as his consciouness returned to what could pass for a sane human. He removed his protective suit's helmet and revealed his face.
