It had been closer to three years since Anna had locked away beneath the surface of Tangier. Training, conditioning - the making of the Red Hessian's "answer" to enemy specialists and the nomads had done its number on the young woman. It made her doubt, and she hated what little of her life she could recall. In the end, though, like all others in training - it left her with a stronger sense of drive and direction than ever before.

After being all but brainwashed to fall in line with whatever direction came from there on - there weren't any emotions to be felt. No part of the twenty-seven-year-old could remember what life was like before she returned; only bits and pieces were there. It made the "guidance" provided by the Red Hessian Army that much more effective; there was no life outside being a Hessian - no purpose. The "Anna Heinrich" originally commissioned under the Red Hessians was a deserter, a coward; she fled at the first opportunity. Now, knowing what it possessed - the Red Hessian's new special operations division (S.O.A) would be able to keep a grip on its prize. Liam Heinrich's legacy would live on more potent than ever.

Maybe a little too strong.

Not knowing what would be in store the day after training had come to a close, Anna was dressed in an unmarked flight suit, ready to make an appearance in the hangar bay and find out what was next. It was strange not coming under scrutiny from people that otherwise gave her a twisted look. Maybe training worked just like that, a switch, once you crossed the finish line - you were one of the pack. It was hopeful but also doubtful, Anna was an exceptional case, and those particular circumstances didn't bar well with most training center personnel.

Several senior officers were lurking around, probably preparing to witness some ceremony or deliver a speech. Before she could figure out what was going on, the sound of her lead instructor interrupted. Heinrich. His voice ran across the hangar; all eyes converged on her quickly. Anna turned to see him waving her over from one of the hangar's exits. She wasted no time walking over, avoiding eye contact with any of the larger ranks in the room. Lieutenant... He said as she approached him. You'll be graduating with the rest of the candidates tomorrow; the command wants you in action this same week. So we're issuing everything now; you'll see your ship once we're done here. I understand, sir. She responded. This program is still in its developmental stages; I hope you won't let us all down with what we're providing you. I won't, sir. Anna replied. This way. He said after a dramatic exhale.

The room they entered seemed a bit more pristine than the rest of the facility, at least the rooms she'd seen. A table on the left side of the room displayed a strange-looking flight suit. Next to it were layers of armor, weapons, explosives, survival gear, and a fancy helmet. All of that caught Anna's attention before anything else in the room was even apparent to her. Cutting edge body armor, designed to fit the owner's precise anatomy when worn. It stretches and relaxes in sync with your muscles, so you won't feel it tug on any part of your body too much when it's in use. Anna put her hand on the dry-suit-like body armor for a moment before shifting it over the new flight suit. It was decorated with her rank, name, and specialization. She took a few moments to feel over the S.O.A logo on the side before her instructor cut her off. Try them on. Don't touch the weapons or the 3rd armor layer until I return.
