Greetings to the Fleet,
As you are all no doubt aware, smuggling has been on the rise within the Republic. LPI has thus far not been able to deal with the large increase, and our policies towards this likewise have failed to curtail the issue.
Therefore, effective immediately I am implementing a zero-tolerance policy regarding non-compliant smugglers within the borders of Liberty.
Once evidence is obtained, the lawful order to comply with the seizure of said contraband and payment of fines will be given. If the smuggler in question does not comply with lawful orders given, their vessel is to be disabled and impounded without further deliberation.
Additionally, confirmed smugglers that refuse to halt their vessel or actively evade arrest upon evidence being collected, are to be disabled immediately without hesitation.
In order to further put the pressure on, I am hereby tasking Delta-Squadron with new deployment orders aimed at stopping this scourge upon our House.
Important: This communication remains the property of the Liberty Navy 46th Fleet and is classified and encrypted for the eyes of 46th operatives only and is not to be passed on to anyone outside this organization unless granted approval from a 46th operative.
